Culture is a powerful thing.

Growing up in Morocco, Alissa was raised in a household that blended cultures, mixing ancient Berber traditions with a modern American take.

It was a special mix that permeated the kitchen and spread throughout the home. Regional ingredients, unexpected flavors and unusual food pairings, plus exotic beauty products and unique home furnishings became her cultural identity.

Starting a new life as an adult in America, Alissa brought this cultural mashup with her. But it wasn’t until the birth of her daughter "N" that she realized just how special her family traditions were. Now there was a new generation to acquaint to the smells and tastes of her childhood.

So she created Marché Berber. Her first products were Amlou & Saffron Vanilla Honey. "N" loved them. And so did customers looking for elemental ingredients presented in new ways. So other food, beauty and homeware products have since followed. Love and tradition have created the new path forward and Marché Berber invites you to come enjoy the journey home.
